It's an obvious scenario:

1) Using the memo as justification, Trump fires Rosenstein and appoints a loyalist in his place.

2) Said loyalist fires Mueller and takes on the investigation himself.

3) After a short time has passed, said loyalist closes the investigation, reporting that no collusion was found, and orders all evidence destroyed.

The only thing that can prevent this is if Congressional Republicans vow to impeach Trump if he takes such an action. May I laugh?
