(146,317 posts)The document was originally classified as TOP SECRET/NOFORN, which is a declaration that this Top Secret information not be distributed to any foreign individual, even if that individual has clearance for Top Secret classified material.
The leap from that classification to UNCLASSIFIED is a very large leap, indeed.

It would be interesting to see who reviewed it and what their comments were.

(3,363 posts)They're claiming the DNC and Hillary are entirely behind the Dossier and the court approved the warrant without knowing who funded the Dossier. It never mentions that Republicans initiated funding for the Dossier.
They're claiming Steele was fired by the FBI for horrible violations of law.
They're claiming Carter Page wasn't targeted until the Campaign in 2016, despite a warrant being on him since at last 2013.
They claim the Papadopolous investigation was initiated by Peter Strozk who showed in text message a strong bias against Trump and favorable view of Clinton which is patently false since Strozk's text messages attacked Clinton and Bernie a lot too.
Fox News watchers will be outraged of course, but to any thinking person who follows this stuff, the memo is such an obvious joke.
