6. This will backfire bigtime.

The Republicans had the authority and the majority in Congress to change the FISA court's rules, and they didn't do it.

If there is a problem or if the Republicans think that the FISA court should not have extended the surveillance or even begun the surveillance, it was their job, their duty, to amend the FISA regulations to prevent any overstepping by the FBI or CIA.

To my knowledge, in spite of having the power and authority to change the surveillance parameters and requirements, the Republicans did nothing.

The Republicans have just shot themselves in the foot.

They simply cannot govern well. They are incapable of it. They aren't smart enough. A bunch of C and D students in way over their heads. That's what Republicans are.

Sorry if I sound like an intellectual snob, but don't ask me to repair a car. The Republicans in Congress are just proving their own incompetence by releasing this memo.
