17. I don't disagree with you. I was not precise in my wording so

let me try to explain it better by saying that many of Tim Allen's lines in his show could easily come out of the mouth of Archie Bunker. The difference is that most of us made fun of Archie and thought of him as a fool. Tim's character is portrayed as the "Father Knows Best" person and yet he is spewing Archie Bunker lines.

And, believe it or not, there were quite a few people back in the day who agreed w/ Archie and didn't get the joke.
