Morning Joe Mocks Trump For Speech Slip-Up: 'The Mind of a 14-Year-Old'

The gang over at Morning Joe mocked President Donald Trump earlier today, after he forgot that he had already mentioned Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) while delivering remarks to Congressional Republicans.

Trump was thanking several high profile Republicans, reading from a teleprompter, began by thanking Cornyn and, well, just a few names later he can be seen turning to Cornyn and asking “Did they forget your name John? I don’t know. What’s going on here? John Cornyn, everybody knows. They didn’t put his name up, but that’s okay.” Joe Scarborough was quick to pounce, rewinding the video and then turning to panelist Willie Geist with a barb at the ready.

“Willie, as a White House doctor would say, the mind of a 14-year-old at the peak of life” he said, taking an obvious jab at White House doctor Ronny Jackson, who gave Trump a stellar medical report several weeks back.

“I love that he throws the speech writer under the bus,” Geist responded. “But, you know, he talks a lot, there are a lot of words, it’s hard to remember it all.”
