He's broken every rule and standard for ethical behavior that has been raised without consequence, what's to stop him from doing this.

Unbelievable that we have such a morally and ethically challenged person as president.

unaccountable autocracy is within his grasp.

the only ones left to challenge him would be state attorneys general, and if he can count on a 5-4 supreme court decision to say a sitting president can't even be indicted, or at least any such indictment can't go to trial while he's president, then he's golden.

members of Congress and their willingness to go to any length to protect a person who may be guilty of treason. This wasn't true in the Watergate era. Some were Nixon lapdogs, but it was a Republican who convinced Nixon to resign. There is a possibility that when Don goes down - and he will - a good chunk of the Congress is implicated as well.
