Question about election night hacking

Pardon me if we've already gone over this, but did we ever pinpoint where the DU hack on election night came from? At the very least, which country the hackers came from? Was the FBI involved?

I'm remembering back to a Bradblog article about the 2012 election and some unnamed group watched over the Ohio vote count election night. That group, I think has really gone underground.

Is there anyway the folks that hacked our system could be tripped up/stumble?

How would we get the attention of someone who would know? I took a break from this site, so if there was an answer, I missed it.
