Next thing, you'll be telling me that Fox News loved it.

What were the reactions of other networks, ones that aren't acknowledged to be explicitly partisan?

Except for one little bit of praise Andrea gave him “for style”. For those three to free it was lame was pretty amazing to see.

ABC, CBS did a lot of fact checking, pointing out his whoppers. Everyone commented on how looooong the speech was.

Then there is this headline at CNN:

CNN Instant poll: Trump gets least positive reaction in at least 20 years
https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/31/politics/state-of-the-union-reaction-poll/index.html

So, in addition to the pundits, the PEOPLE were not bowled over either. He lost ground from last year's speech to a joint session of Congress. What. A. Shock.

I also noted Senator Harris. She's good. I could easily see Kamala Harris as a Presidential candidate in 2020. The GOOD young Kenndey is still under the age limit.

Did anyone watch her on MSNBC tonight? I've been watching anything pertaining to her since the last elections.

D.R.E.A.M.ers. At one point, Trump tried to lump DACA people in with M13 gang members. Steven Miller had his fingerprints all over that part of the speech.

More or less, down the middle. Jennifer Granholm was more willing to point out how Trump is promising way more than he can deliver because he gave the giant tax break to the top 1%. Axelrod also more critical of the speech.

Rick Santorum earned his paycheck

The MSNBC crew, Maddow, and then later, Chris Matthews were much more critical.

Lying. It's not normal. Somebody has to.. the US "media" doesn't.. while they're so busy trying to normalize him.

Sounds like his delivery was bad also.. anyone saying.. "he's the president" tonight? Like some did after his speech to congress?

His lies and misstatements were breathtaking, as usual. And he delivered the lines like he was stating the Gettysburg address. Not a hint of doubt in his voice. So anyone listening to him might get lulled into thinking “surely he isn’t lying.” Hate to break it to ya, but it was laced with lies from beginning to end.

Tomorrow, after the fact checkers have had enough time to enumerate the lies, the commentary should really get tRump’s dander up. Just the quick survey moments after the speech ended, there was plenty to note that were brazen lies. Wait until he reads the reviews of his performance tonight. Be prepared for a Twitter Meltdown of epic proportions. He thinks he hit it out of the ball park tonight.
