Tonight on the Last Word: In reaction to Thursday’s breaking news, Michael Wolff, the author of “Fire & Fury,” claims that the firing of Mueller became an obsession for Trump in the summer period before his legal team was set. Lawrence and his guests discuss Wolff’s comments and how the ‘Times’ report could affect Mueller’s likely obstruction of justice case.

Despite this news, some congressional Republicans refuse to protect Mueller, with some ignoring the threat to Mueller altogether.

Plus, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Trump’s legal team is studying court rulings for an excuse to delay or avoid an interview with Robert Mueller by exerting executive privilege.

Michael Wolff, Jill Wine-Banks, Matt Miller, Ron Klain, Rep. Adam Schiff, and Jennifer Rubin join Lawrence O’Donnell.

watch Schiff (near the end of the show) first. He puts the rest of the show ina more realistic context. A lot of what Wolff said really doesn't apply to the moron as far as legalities go.
