Wallpaper

Michael Wolff just used the word 'wallpaper' on 'Last Word' to describe the daily barrage of defensiveness and desperation from Trump - constantly badgering White House officials and others in government about his obsession to get rid of Comey and Mueller.

I don't know if that term is in his book (not a big MW fan), but it's a perfect way to describe the president's daily haranguing of senior staff and aides to find ways to remove officials charged with investigating him and his campaign.

Many, like McCabe, would try and divert Trump from what they were convinced would be illegal interference into the ongoing investigation, yet the president continued to pester them like a spoiled child.

Obstruction permeates the White House like wallpaper. Perfect.
