Preet Bharaa is the former US attorney from NY and was fired by the moron. He said that Mueller's desire to interview the moron is a possible sign that the investigation is nearing an end. However he said that we do not know what Mueller is doing and what he knows so this is only speculation. Preet knows his stuff so this is good news.

(39,343 posts)Even though we've said it before, it does feel like we are coming to a climax.
Just today there were multiple leaks about Sessions, Comey, FBI director threatening to resign, desire to interview trump.
Ari is doing the same thing on his show right now, about it coming to an end.

"This stage" is different than "the investigation is nearing an end."
All along, I've believed that Robert Mueller's investigation will be multi-staged and will ultimately ensnare a great many people.
After all, we all know how corrupt the Republicans have been for the last 30-plus years!
ETA: My point is that there will be many charges against a great many people and they will emerge in various stages of importance.
Just my opinion, by the way.

(51,636 posts)and probably some that we are not even aware of yet. We know there is collusion, obstruction of justice and money laundering but there are a ton of smaller crimes too. Someone on DU wrote a long list of crimes about a week ago. Preet was saying that the by wanting to interview the moron it seems that Mueller may be wrapping up the Obstruction part of the investigation. This implies that he is possibly at the final stages of this part. I try to be clear but this is not my area of expertise and it is very confusing to me.
