...most of the legislation that he wants to pass is not that popular with the general public.

And if he tries to pass them as stand-alone bills, the Republican majority is very slim and very few pieces of legislation would pass if taken as separate bills.

That is why he will try to cram everything on the Republican agenda into the next bill that comes up on February 8th. If they are debated separately, very few items will pass on Republican votes alone.

If DACA is considered separately and then voted upon, then other items should be considered in the same way. They should be careful not to let McConnell try to pass their agenda as a "package".
