Circular firing squad??

My cell phone carrier CREDO is a part of this.
Ugh.

Let's just give Republicans more ammo.

Immigration Activists Are About to Go Off on Chuck Schumer
GIDEON RESNICK

A trio of progressive organizations, including CREDO, is hosting an event on Tuesday night that will bring activists to the front lawn of Schumer’s home in Brooklyn. They are also in the process of printing signs for the event which read “Worst negotiator in Washington. And Brooklyn. #SchumerSellout,” superimposed on an image of the Minority Leader’s face.

ON EDIT: Anyone know of an alternative cell phone carrier that is progressive?

Schumer is in D.C. and the only people they'll be bothering are those who are the neighbors hasn't occurred to these morons? Try your luck with republicans.

I am one of those that was disappointed and have expressed it many times, but Schumer has been around for a long time and I am sure knew this kind of thing might happen.

Honestly, going after Schumer alone is the best that could happen for Dems in the Senate right now. He will bear the brunt of angry attacks from angry Democrats, while the members of his party that voted with him can, for the most part, stay in the background and get on with serving their constituents and trying to legislate. To independents, he will be seen as rationally making compromises good for the country, while bucking the more radical voters of his party. **I am not saying those angry with the decision are radical, only that they will be portrayed that way by the media and Schumer will be seen as a calm thoughtful moderating influence.

I just saw where Schumer rescinded his offer to Trump on additional funding for the “wall”, so he obviously is thinking ahead.

Oh and I have no idea about alternative cell phone carriers. Hahaha. I am stuck with ATT for a while.

Is that it is too early to evaluate this deal.

The deal includes the promise to address DACA within a few weeks.

If they do, then you can evaluate the entirety of the deal based on how good the DACA solution is.

If they don't, the funding question comes back around in 3 weeks. At that time, the Democrats will have much more leverage because they would have played ball the first go round while the GOP reneged. The politics would be heavily in the favor of the Democrats then. And CHIP is off the table as a hostage. If another shut down is necessary, turtle will carry all the blame.

You could even argue that this dynamic will allow the Democrats to get a better deal on DACA because the GOP can't afford to go the distance this time.

This is like trying to judge a baseball trade without knowing who the "player-to-be-named-later" is. There simply isn't enough information available yet.

In a few weeks we will know. Perhaps I will be upset as well when it plays out. Until then, I think we are well positioned.
