NEW: Mueller interviewed Sessions for hours last week

Sessions Is Interviewed in Mueller’s Russia Investigation

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Jeff Sessions was questioned for several hours last week by the special counsel’s office as part of the investigation into Russia’s meddling in the election and whether the president obstructed justice since taking office, according to a Justice Department spokeswoman.

The meeting marked the first time that investigators for the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, are known to have interviewed a member of Mr. Trump’s cabinet.

The spokeswoman, Sarah Isgur Flores, confirmed that the interview occurred in response to questions from The New York Times.

Mr. Sessions announced in March that he had recused himself from all matters related to the 2016 election, including the Russia inquiry. The disclosure came after it was revealed that Mr. Sessions had not told Congress that he met twice with the Russian ambassador to the United States at the time, Sergey I. Kislyak, during the campaign. Mr. Sessions was an early supporter of Mr. Trump’s presidential run.

A lot to be happy about with Keebler fellow being questioned by Mueller. His aw shucks you make me nervous act is useless against Mueller's professional team. Wonder if he was stupid enough to lie? Lots to wonder about, but anyway I think about it this is bad for Sessions. Sessions lied on disclosure forms, lied to Senate. trump, you criminal idiot, you will soon feel the noose of justice tightening around your bloated neck.

For Jeff Sessions to lie as he did before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Any lies to Mueller, will result in an indictment. Jeff Sessions is not off the hook here.

Last night on MSNBC, it was reported that the sentencing conference for George Papadopolous that was supposed to happen yesterday was postponed for at least a few months. Nick Ackerman was asked to comment and he said what generally happens is these sentencing meetings happen after all the cooperation the defendant agreed to is finished. That suggested that Papadopolous is still cooperating and has additional usefulness to Mueller.

IIRC, Papadopolous was in meetings with Sessions involving contacts with Russia. Sessions has claimed publically that he shot down the suggestions of meetings, but Papadopolous could contradict that. Now that Sessions has been interviewed what he said can be compared with Papadopolous' account Maybe that's why the sentencing conference was postponed.

Trump's New Impeachable Offenses: Obstruction of Justice, Conspiracy, Abuse of Power

...... There is absolutely no doubt Trump's motive in firing Comey was to eliminate the person investigating #TrumpRussia and to obstruct the FBI investigation. That is criminal action.

The action was taken be three persons, Trump, Sessions and Rosenstein, and therefore conspiracy statutes prevail: ...........

"CONCLUSION/ This may just be the first of several Mueller-Sessions meetings, so it doesn't mean the probe is almost over, nor that Sessions won't flip on Trump—he may well do so. In any case, it's a *major* development in the Trump-Russia probe and very, very bad news for Trump."
