and much to my disappointment - little to no coverage yet. I'm hoping the news shows quit talking about Trump's tweets and this shutdown (sh*tdown) and start focusing on this Women's March.

(36,533 posts)My non-political friends were all fired up after the Con's inauguration & marched & went to postcard writing parties. Six months later they couldn't be bothered to call their reps about the ACA.

(36,898 posts)A field reporter was talking to marchers headed to NYC on the "Peace Train" . But, yeah, not that much coverage. Maybe there will be more as the day progresses.

(25,278 posts)the news shows are starting to cover the March now. Initially - all they talked about was the Sh*tdown and Trump's tweets.
I was hoping for a bigger turnout this year than last - so we could rub Trump's face in that too.
