I’m told the current plan is @realDonaldTrump is prepared to delay his departure for big Mar-a-Lago weekend til stopgap passed so he can sign. Could push departure til tomorrow

I can't imagine that he would miss his little ego-trip party... THAT would be a cold day in hell.

He could wait until tomorrow - but that puts the pressure on having some stopgap completed tonight.

I heard some buzz that there might be consideration of a 1 week stopgap to give time for some compromise to get through both chambers...

Too bad, there is a large anti-45 demonstration scheduled in Palm Beach that will congregate near Mar Lago. It would have been nice had 45 been able to hear the megaphones. But we are still marching, and thousands are expected.

You know, the real Americans, the only ones who count in this administration? Are they going to be happy about laying out 100 large and not getting to hobnob with their hero? I realize that's chump change to the people who have so much money that this is all they can think of to do with it, but still. No bang for their bucks? That's not going to sit well with them.
