For the record, I wish Trump many years of health and lucidity.

It should be pretty clear by now that the only two things he cares about are his reputation and his bank account. Hell, I'm not convinced his feeling for his family go much beyond his perception of their value to him and his image.

I also have faith that, at some point, this country is going to awaken from its stupor and that Trump's name will be dirt. I want him to see that, and I don't care how long it takes. I want him to see his business turn to rubble when no one will ever want to have anything to do with him or anyone else in his family. I'm waiting for the day when he'll be looking back fondly on the days when his public approval ratings were in the 30s, even if it doesn't happen until long after he's out of office, and the deplorable population gets smaller and smaller. And maybe, if we're all lucky enough, for him to live long enough for prison to be a real possibility.

He doesn't deserve the easy way out.

I remember when Ken Lay died, after he was convicted, but before sentencing. He caused so much harm to people, but never spent a day in prison.

I would rather see him suffer, too. What I would really like to see is him lose all his money and have his brand turned to crap. I think that is what worries him the most, having his name (brand) ruined. If he can live long enough to witness that, then I will be satisfied.
