Put this on my tombstone.

The little bit that I saw, the little bit that I felt as awesome as it all was is so much smaller than what was really there. The tragedy in our lives is not what we remember, but what we cant remember because we didn't choose to see it in the first place.

I feel this sentiment particularly as we go through this debilitating darkness since Impotus was not elected by the majority of the popular vote. I resist, but remind myself to still try and enjoy something each day. A good book, a good movie, a good meal, a talk with a good friend that doesn’t revolve around the shithouse and the cluster F of assholes that dance around him.
