1. The lack of humanity and basic decency

In current immigration policy/enforcement is disgusting and intentional. It’s not just this- is separating very young children from their parents, it’s border patrol destroying life-saving water and food - making trying to cross the border even more of a potential death sentence. These are people- often children. The cruelty is just sick.
