Please use simple language to explain negotiations and possible shutdown:
1. The Republicans control the entire federal government at all levels.
2. The Republicans are negotiating among themselves for a solution to avoid Shutdown.
3. The Republicans have shut Democrats out of all negotiations. Our ideas, suggestions are not solicited by them.
4. The Republicans come up with a plan that is abhorrent to us and our Constituents.
5. The Republicans then come to us and say you must vote for this in order to prevent a shutdown.
6 And, oh by the way, for our Thanks you get absolutely Nothing!
