sh't again. Crooked wall street is imbedded in the WH. The stock market is at lofty levels that aren't supported by anything real.

is "over-heated", short sellers salivate, long term investors should expect a "roller coaster ride" to profit, or ruin, imo.

who always quote the stock market every afternoon at 4pm, made an additional comment yesterday.

It was something about "I'm getting 1929 deja vu".

But a clear Democratic platform of progressive measures that is actually followed through on, becoming legislation and regulation, would be even better.

We need to sweep control of Congress, but we also need the White House for years to build a record the electorate can count on. The ACA was a powerful brand-builder; we need something like that and more.

I don't want to be seen as pooh-poohing the Democratic Party, but it is an unfortuante modern fact that we have to be ten times more successful than the GOP/billionaire alliance to hope to gain equal footing.

Fear of Trump is not enough, and alas it looks like the best we can hope for now is a holding action against the day when we control the government. That is not very inspiring to the average voter.

is only temporary even after a crash. Look at the Great Depression and how it damaged the republican brand for 30 years but towards the end of the 60's they bounced back and have had power for the majority of the time since then.
