My dad messed up the clock and had trouble with the counting the first time he took it. Later he would would practice the math and the drawing, before appointments, and did much better. Of course he, like many who have taken it, told everyone he about it, so since many parts are hardly a secret (and it is now easily found online), I question the value of it. My dad died with dementia a few years ago and he never had problems with identifying objects nor knowing where he was in time and space. He did have dramatic behavioral changes, decrease in motor skills, uneven gait, and forgot how to do simple tasks, among other changes.

I will also add that for the longer neurological evaluation, the report indicated my dad presented as a well educated, well read, articulate, elder male... but the diagnosis after the evaluation and some brain imaging was probable vascular dementia.

So the fact that Trump’s doctor said articulate really could mean absolutely nothing.
