Chief of staff Kelly, lying his ass off to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus:

Kelly calls some of Trump's campaign pledges on immigration, wall 'uninformed,' meeting attendees say
White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly told Democratic lawmakers Wednesday that the United States will never construct a physical wall along the entire stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border and that some of President Trumps campaign promises on immigration were uninformed.
The comments put Kelly at odds with Trump, who repeatedly said during his presidential campaign that he would build a border wall that Mexico would pay for, not U.S. taxpayers.

In a bid to assure the group that he understands their concerns, Kelly said that Hispanic Caucus members should be grateful that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program wasnt ended immediately in September when Trump set a six-month expiration date for the program.
I worked to get the six-month extension of DACA. I ordered that. I managed that. And everyone has thanked me for that, he told the group.

Isn't that nice of Kelly? Instead of an immediate termination, he put a six-month fuse on it so that President Trump and the Republicans in Congress would have a lot of time playing with people's lives.
I wonder if Kelly will be going before any of those ubiquitous Trump voters the media are forever profiling and tell them the same thing he told the CHC? "Hey, you know that wall palaver that Trump was selling you? Buncha snake oil. Balloon juice. Hot air. He didn't know what the fuck he was talking about, but boy did he sucker you dumbasses! Be sure to contribute to his re-election campaign, my good friends."

(12,344 posts)1. I read a poll a while back
that said Trump voters didn't care about a physical wall, they just wanted to stop illegal border crossings. So all Trump really has to do is increase border security and they will be satisfied.

what a gasbag.
Surprisingly he didn't say "everyone in the whole wide world thanked me for that along with creatures from outer space"
