(3,063 posts)Maybe the Coke dissolved his bone spurs. I've heard Coke can do amazing things like loosen bolts on cars.

(16,254 posts)Coke. He had a glass of Coke with rusty nails standing to show the shiny part where the rust had been eaten off and part of the nail that was still rusty. It certainly made an impression on us kids.
Coke found out (probably through their distributor) and their lawyers sent a cease and desist order.

(90,793 posts)...and they both have long surgical scars on either side of their knees from having had as much as possible removed. They each developed multiple spurs elsewhere in their bodies, but ensuring the ability to walk was pretty paramount.
Their mother and father each had iirc one bone spur each (or few) that caused them little problem.
Who knows about the Mad King, whose entire life has been constructed of lies. During the Vietnam War a friendly doc could look at someone's x-ray at just the right angle and see ...something.
The part of this story I have the most trouble with is that IRL he grew up to be a chickenhawk in the Oval Office, ready and willing to order others to war.

The "physician" might as well have been sent from Fox Noise--that's about how much credibility his "findings" have.

I doubt he ever had any such spurs and that he received any "treatment" for them. He would not know what the treatment was supposed to have been anyway. Bet he would say he forgot.
I'd rather see his tax returns though.
