featuring a Pride flag. Gus Kenworthy, who is an extreme skier who is likely to be on the Olympic team this year, speaks about representing his country, his community, and his pride. When he says community the is draped in a Pride flag. I am just amazed to see this.

They paid a lot of money for an Olympic sponsorship and collateral advertising to elicit your reaction, so be specific.

(52,162 posts)they date back to 1924. Second, to see an ad featuring a gay athlete with pride imagery frankly blows my mind. Remember there still hasn't been an openly gay athlete in professional football (outside of Sam who was drafted but didn't play a down), in professional baseball (outside of a few minor league players), only one in basketball, and none in hockey. In short this is historic.
