About two years ago my doctor got on me about my diet because my blood sugar (glucose level) had gone from the 90s to 105 for one annual physical. Anything over 99 is labeled as pre-diabetes, which you would expect of anyone who eats mostly steak and fast food.
And I play golf; it is not exercise unless you walk and carry your bag. The Snickers during the round and the drinks after (and for many players, during) more than offset the minimal effort to walk from the cart to the ball and swing a club that weighs a few pounds.

The report doesn't specify if it was fasting or not. Anything up to 140 (2 hours after eating) is considered normal. Personally, I think anyone who goes above 120 after eating is probably pre-diabetic, but the guidelines call 140 the cutoff for normal.

As to steak - steak (0 carbs) has no impact on blood glucose level (or diabetes). The impact of fast food depends on what it is. Pork rinds, for example, have zero carbs - and no impact on blood glucose level.

Test strips used in a doctor's office are currently permitted to be off +/- 15%. So if your actual blood glucose was 91, the tests strips used in a doctor's office could register that as anything from to 77 to 105 - so going from the 90s to 105 n one annual physical is meaningless. (That's why a diagnosis by fasting blood glucose requires two tests outside of the normal range)

(I am a diabetic, and I keep my blood glucose levels within normal (non-diabetic) ranges by limiting carb intake - I can eat all the steaks, pork rinds, cheese and lots of other foods considered junk foods I want without budging my blood glucose level.)

I have a standard physical yearly, including blood tests. I am not only briefed on the results by my primary care physician but can access the results online. I've never noticed a testosterone level on there.

That sounds like something Trump insisted was included considering his hang-ups about machismo and the like.
