(9,766 posts)by numerous demographics. Race is one of them. It's actually an important measurement for a number of reasons. It shows where focus needs to be applied.
Not sure what the issue is here.

(1,660 posts)It is almost always double that of whites, and that is accounting for education. An uneducated white man is more likely to be employed at a higher salary than an educated black man. All that matters.
Now does Trump give a damn about any of that. No. But lets not throw the baby out with the bath water.

Oddly, the black unemployment rate was truly huge news a few years ago because it was much larger than the white unemployment rate. So it's not like it's a new thing on the radar.
