I predict:

After those GOP cowards who decide to spend more time with family sort out, the remaining cowards will all find some Trumpevent on which to hang their hat and say "I was always lukewarm to Trump, but I can no longer support him." Or something similar to that.

When they do that, they are not to be believed.
