If I Was In Hawaii And Received That Warning Message - My First Thought Would Be.....

to say 'That Damned Trump' look what he did to us.

I wouldn't be thinking NK - I'd be blaming Trump.

I wonder how many people in Hawaii had the same thought?

Once the immediate crisis was over, then they can start taking a look at how and why
this happened. Trump is certainly the reason that a false alarm was totally credible.

And run through the following rationalizations:

- probably a false alarm, every other nuclear launch alert has been

- even if NK is lobbing a missile in this general direction, the odds of them coming anywhere close to the Islands are slim

- and even if they are on target, the odds they're going to come anywhere close are slim

- and assuming they miraculously drop an ICBM within several miles of me, the odds they have a payload - nuclear or otherwise - that successfully detonates on their first try are very low

- and if I somehow manage to lose despite the odds being stacked heavily in my favor, I want to be as numbed as possible before having a fly-into-the-sun moment

Probably makes me a shallow or horrible person but sounds like a reasonable response to me
