go down storm drains and under manhole covers. I know what to do during earthquakes and wildfires but nukes and missiles...no way.

Several generals have warned that war is coming, and with trump and Un both unstable, maybe they want to condition people for the inevitable.

That had to be scary.

thing. Can't believe I didn't hear it. Got up about 9:amish.

I'm glad I did.. talked to peeps here today who were so worried.. tweeting loved ones goodbye

Also friends said.. it seems like it would have to be someone in authority who pushed the button. Not just anyone who worked there would have access.

It’s bad enough it happened, but I’m glad you were at least spared.

The things I’ve read today from the people who endured this fiasco has broken my heart! It’s good to know you were at least spared in all this, Cha.

I didn’t see you commenting by the time it was debunked (which was mercifully before you woke today I now know!) and hoped you’d been spared any undue stress. I’m glad that was the case.

I’m relived you, and your loved ones were spared. I’m still angry anyone had to think it was possibly their last few moments on this earth. Which apparently close to a million people experienced! The official reason isn’t making much sense, either. I don’t know what the whole truth is, but it’s possibly not what we were all told at first considering the now conflicting reports.

Damn, we live in interesting times.

of you, herding cats.. I had no idea!

But, since I last posted to you.. I started thinking about what I would have thought and it might have gone something like this.. " the holy fuck is this?!!!" I would have thought of trump and his big damn stupid shithole, while scrambling to send messages of Love to my family here and on the Mainland.

I had a similar experience, though not as deadly, on 9/11/92 when Hurricane Iniki struck Kauai. We were all in my son's house.. I and 13 of his surfer friends and girlfriends. We were all laying on the floor by the threshold because that was suppose to be the safest place.

It felt and sounded like a speeding train was headed straight for us.. I blurted out a "I love you all!!".. and I got laughs! It felt like the best thing to say at that point in time. Luckily his house stayed intact even though we never knew if it was going to blow at any time.

I hope we find out the truth of what exactly happened and why it went off.

Missile threat alert for Hawaii a false alarm; officials blame employee who pushed 'wrong button'

"BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL," the emergency alert read.

Ige also tweeted that he is meeting with top defense and emergency management officials from the state "to determine what caused this morning's false alarm and to prevent it from happening again."
