Duh! I finally figured out why the republicans keep trump and don't impeach him.

It's not because they need to get legislation passed because pence would sign the same stuff, but he would be more aware of what's in the bill.

It's because they can put anything they want into a bill because they know he would never look past the first sentence before signing it. All their little pet projects can get approval if they can get it voted on in the house and senate and we all know how closely they read it themselves.

Not just afraid of being voted out, but afraid for their lives. A good proportion of Trump's base almost literally worship him, and they don't tolerate any blasphemy. Look at how the death threats fly around every time someone gets in the news criticizing Trump. Imagine how it would be for an infidel Republican who had anything do with impeaching him. I honestly think this is part of the equation for them.
