Ex Presidents should speak up NOW

Re: Trumps cringe worthy, racist comments

Ex presidents should issue statements that affirm that we are a nation of immigrants and that racism has no place in America. Their words will have weight and will be heard around the world.

We could only hope. I'm so afraid for our country. The pResident put us at significant risk today. Maybe it was his intention.

should lay the ultimate smack down on the newest member of their "club". It is the perfect opportunity to bring dignity back to the office and show whose side they are on. Silence is not an option this time gentlemen.

how much longer is this going to go on? Dragging Lady Liberty through the s***. The rest of the world knows that this isn't who we are--I hope!

denounce this racist asshole.

Lawrence O'Donnell tonight pointed out that China sees Africa as a big Economic Opportunity and TRump has just now handed the whole continent to them.

7. Yes, this is how empires crumble. Trumpanzees think he is strong, but his reaction is weak.

He is reactionary with tunnel vision and is getting blind-sided all the time.

Thrashing about and being disruptive just for the sake of being disruptive is weakness embodied. It is what two-year olds do in temper tantrums, not what calm reasoned and seasoned adults do with full possession of the facts.

I think they either own or have the land-use rights to almost all of the crop-producing land on the continent.

wildlife. That's why they have to import timber from us. And since they do not respect animals as we do, I suspect they'll drive what's left of Africa's magnificent wildlife to extinction.

I googled and found an interesting and relevant article from a couple of years ago (I hope its premise is true):

Chinese firms buy, lease far less African farmland than thought - book

This is not about owing anything. As any citizen and especially anyone of highly respected "celeb" status should use that platform to stop this malignant orange train wreck from wreaking further havoc on our nation.

Yes, 43 is a coward but he's show up in a group setting, I'd think, if daddy told him to.

the party of your racist uncle. My god, how low can you go. Is there anything you cant defend in order to maintain the party's objectives? Defending some of the torch wielding neo-nazis, spewing chants that were straight out of 1930s Germany wasn't the low? It could somehow be rationalized?

We know who Donald Trump is. He is the son of a father who attended a klan rally. He and his farther settled with the government for housing discriminating, marking applications of people of color. Called for the prosecution of innocent people. Questioned the citizenship of the first African american present. Muslim bans, Mexican rapists and on and on.

Donald Trump is the ultimate chicken coming home to roost for the republican party. Reagan announced in Philadelphia Miss, Lee Atwater, Willie Horton, New Orleans, welfare queens, play the race card, the war on drugs, dog whistles. Trump just isn't any good at hiding it. In fact its 2018 you don't have to hide it anymore, the party of Lincoln is willing to sell bedrock values for tax cuts and deregulation.

One thing I really know is there are next to 0 republican statesmen(save Mia) or people who take their oath or duty as a co-equal branch of government, seriously, its loyalty to party first, second, third. The debasing of the presidency and the reputation of the United States be damned, how history judges me be damned.

It has reached today a "sir have you no sense of decency". which side of history do you want to be judged on moment. I got my money on Ryan, McConnell, Graham, Cornyn, etc slinking, sinking, selling out. You couldn't make a spine out of any of them. Party first, country second.

Shame on you.... and they know it too.
