Going full racist: Trump criticized immigration from 's---hole' countries

President Trump reportedly referred to immigrants from Haiti and African countries as coming from “shithole countries” on Thursday.

Trump made the comment in an Oval Office meeting with lawmakers during a discussion of protections for immigrants from several countries, according to The Washington Post.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to multiple people briefed on the meeting.

He reportedly suggested that the U.S. should bring in more immigrants from countries like Norway.

Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) were present at the meeting, and were surprised by the comments, according to the Post.

I don't think my ancestors came to America because things were so great in the old countries. At some period in time, due to a problem with potatoes and their allocation, Ireland could have been called a shit-hole. Many people fled the place, including some of my ancestors. Conditions in Ireland have apparently improved.

I never thought millions of Americans of color, including myself, would live under white nationalist rule. It's happening. Think about the depth of his comments... it's about millions and millions of Americans he is talking about, people like Barack Obama, a Kenyan-American and many others who are being described by Trump as having less value than white people from Norway.
