I get one every year, paid for 100% by Medicare. During that routine wellness checkup, I am asked to remember three words, and then asked to draw a clock face with the time of 11:10 on it. Later, I am asked to provide those three words. Those two simple tests are designed to check my memory functions and my cognitive abilities.
I'm hopeful that Donald Trump is given those two routine tests that are required by Medicare for those annual wellness checks. They are both quite good at intial diagnoses of memory issues and cognitive deficits.
By the way, the three words from last year's wellness check were: Banana. Breakfast. Chair. My clock looked like a clock with the time of 11:10. (102,285 posts)I was shocked to find that some of my neighbor's kids did not know how to read a clock face, relying only on digital interphases. I suspect they likewise can't read cursive writing, given many schools no longer teach that as well.
