Please take some time to reporting fake and harmful "news" on FB

Many of you might not see it because you don't follow such pages, but there's a ton of bullshit out there.

I have decided to follow a few pages and report most every post that I see either for fake news or
because it falls under FB's

"It harms or humiliates based on race, sex, orientation or ability
Examples: racism, sexism, anti-gay content" option.

If you have don't the harm option, you have to select report and then

"I think it shouldn't be on Facebook"

It will give options, select "See more options" and you will find it.

My current favorite to report is a right wing propaganda page called "Life Site News" which is anything but pro-life.
It's disgusting and most items fall under fake or harmful (which is also fake , but a worse offense).

Let's try to take some these assholes down!

2. I know - trust me I know. I tried to settle on 1 or 2 pages

It would also be interesting if all of DU focused on one specific page - that could do enough damage for a page to go down.

3. It does work. I've had pages taken down by FB because I reported fake news and alerted to

promoting harm to people.

4. I also like to hide FB trending news items and ads that are bullshit.

Not necessarily fake, but right wing sources, etc.
