Why doesn't one of the Democrats in the meeting with Trump

about border security ask Trump how he's going to get Mexico to pay for the wall? He only said it about a thousand times during the campaign. He shouldn't be given a pass on that lie. When he asks for taxpayers to pay for the wall, they should be laughing at him.

I think at least once (months ago) he said we'd put a 'border tax' on goods coming into the U.S. from Mexico to pay us back for building the wall.

Wouldn't that increase the cost we pay for those imported items, as the tax would get passed along by the importers to the consumer?

So American citizens would pay twice:
First to build the wall,
and second by paying more for the higher taxed Mexican products.

A 'lose lose' for Americans.

Ask President Trump why he's so dead set on giving away access to the Rio Grande? You know Mexico isn't going to let us build the wall on their side of the border, so that means it goes up on our side.

no wall would be needed where there are "natural barriers" like rivers and mountains.
