We have more than twice as many seats up for re-election, and many of those will be open seats due to retirements.
electoral-vote.com currently projects the Democrats to hold the Senate (barely) which is better than I would have thought.

I don't believe the more optimistic numbers. Not that I think TPM numbers are that accurate either. I just don't think Obama is running away with the election quite yet. We've got months to go.
