Stocks soar, wages stay flat

By Heather Long
January 5 at 9:36 AM

... the Dow topped 25,000 for the first time ever Thursday ... There's no doubt the U.S. economy and Wall Street have momentum heading .. but worker pay remains .. flat.

American wages rose a sluggish 2.5 percent last year, according to a Labor Department report released Friday morning. That's the same rate of wage growth as under President Barack Obama ...

The Dow Jones industrial average jumped 25 percent in 2017 .. but those gains largely accrue to the wealthiest Americans ... Almost half of the country doesn't have a single dollar in the stock market ...

Throughout history, this has never ended well for the ruling class. This time, however they have nukes.

And that goes for both Trump and Obama. For the top 1% it might be.

One of the reasons why Obama really never got the approval ratings for large parts of his 2nd term that Reagan and Clinton got was because of this issue. Its also the reason why democrats got crushed in both 2010 and 2014 mid terms.

The democrats really need to make this there biggest priority and run on it, because they (and the GOP congress) have failed on this issue for far far too long.
