It's still too early to make any real predictions, but I feel like Fire and Fury could become a simultaneous pop culture milestone as well as a political earth shaker.
Besides the effect of salacious details contained in the book getting widespread exposure, it looks like it's poised to be a mega bestseller, and I think that adds an additional worry for Trump, his cronies and the GOP in general.
If F&F does gangbusters business, that sends the signal that there's big bucks to be made in TMZ-style hits on the inner workings of the White House. And since I (and most of the sane world) am under the impression that Trump has largely surrounded himself with craven, self-serving idiots with no ability to function as actual politicians, I think that means there's going to be an onslaught of exclusive interview, book, movie, and made-for-TV-movie deals being made by former Trump aides, assistants or even cabinet members.
We already know the White House was worried that Omarosa might start spilling the beans. What do you think she's thinking watching Wolff make the rounds on talk shows and having excerpts of his magnum opus reprinted here and there? If the $$ signs are big enough, I think she and others will have no problem risking the Orange One's wrath, or even his threats of lawsuits or using the Justice Department against them.

(17,009 posts)is really easy and Twitler is bleeding power by the second. He's either too stupid to keep his mouth shut or truly believes he is above the law. Neither are traits power brokers who opperate in the gray zone of legality want around them.
