I usually don't buy such books, but am have to admit that I want to read this one.

(1,009 posts)no matter how under the radar will sell out fast. They most likely don't have the funds to buy the books in large quantities to accomodate demand. Online book sellers are going to take advantage with outrageous prices...for example abe books already listing the book for $$$ https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?sts=t&an=wolff&tn=fire+and+fury&kn=&isbn=
But I don't know how they could possibly have it on hand, so the wait could be as long as everyone else. My son bought some school books online, and they don't even tell you when something isn't in stock before you hit the purchase button. He was later told the books would be coming in a month.
