I have more respect for Trump, than I do for the people who voted for him

You see, Trump knew who he was, a fucking no good, lying, thieving con man.

Too many people I know, I didn't know were racists. They would keep it to themselves. Many were conspiracy theorists. I didn't know, they kept it to themselves. I think they thought, "I don't want to say what I am thinking. Everyone will hate me". No shitting, you should be ashamed of what you're thinking.

Then came Trump. A friend of mine's girlfriend said in early 2016, "you know what, that Trump guy, I like him. He says what a lot of people think, but are afraid to say." My response was, "Ya, if what you're thinking is racist." I didn't know then how dangerous this guy was or how many people, many of them my friends and acquaintances, were fucking racist, bigoted assholes.

Mind you, I'm in the demographic of the typical Trump supporter. I'm a 65 year old, white, third generation ethnic, male. My contemporaries are mostly in this group. 55 to 75 years old, white males or married white women. I'll admit, that there are more male racists than female, but of the women racists, I seem to know too many of them.

In a Democracy, people get the government they deserve. I don't care how much money a candidate spends or how much propaganda advertising is done, in America, we're supposed to know better. Russians, Trump, Bannon, Fox News, Limbaugh, Hannity, fuck, I don't care. I'm exposed to the same bullshit, and it didn't fool me. I don't want to hear the excuses. Just like the ending of WWII in Germany and the allies took all the civilian citizens over to the death camps to witness what had happened and made the German civilians bury the dead bodies of the Holocaust victims. I don't want to hear the bullshit "I didn't know. How could this have happened, I just didn't like Otto Wels (Hitler's opponent in 1932)."

Fuck all of them. If you voted for Trump, or even stayed home, voted 3rd party, blanked or wrote in on December 8, 2016 and today, can't admit that it was the biggest mistake you've made in your entire political life, then I have no respect for you. Trump has an excuse. He was an asshole all his life and didn't pretend to be otherwise, and doesn't now. He belongs in jail. But the rest of his enablers, to me, are more contemptible.
