No citizen competent to cast a ballot should ever be disenfranchised.

It sounds more onerous than a similar kind of process in other states.
Anybody know if it is, or if the different jargon just makes it sound more onerous.

In the other states I've looked at, the approval rate is high and the process is fairly fast. It's just that most ex-cons don't know about the process or don't ever apply. (It also ranges from free to fairly cheap.)
