From Resistance to Persistence!
Last January, during inaugural weekend, over 20,000 people marched in our states capital, with an estimated 15,000 Tennesseans marching in Knoxville, Memphis, Chattanooga and Jonesborough and DC. This was an important moment of unity, but we know that uniting is just the beginning. There is great work to be done and we must organize our efforts to effect change.
Most importantly, Tennesseans from all walks of life will gather to connect and support one another, to demonstrate that we are not alone as we face a barrage of political assaults on our communities. We aim to foster a sense of belonging, create a space for learning, and kickoff 2018 with sustained meaningful action.
Visit TnPowerTogether.org for event details. Register now to unite and persist!" (More at link)

(3 posts)I would very much appreciate some help in regards to the impeach Trump rally or March that may be happening in Phoenix Arizona on January 20th. I realize this is also the women's March and the potential to be combined. Any information you may have would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much. PS I have about 100 friends that would like to join me if there is such a rally. Kevinblairm@gmail.com

(51,623 posts)an Impeachment March? I attended an Impeachment March in San Diego in June right before the Mueller Investigation was announced and haven't had any info on any more under that theme since. The 2018 Women's March is a place for these issues to be supported and just like they were at last year's March.
Do you belong to Indivisible? I received a gmail that I got from them today regarding their plans for 2018 and I posted it under "Activist Headquarters" on the DU home page. Here is the link.

Tom Steyer has a new ad (his 5th one) on TV to impeach the moron and he urges us to call our state reps and demand they take action. If you sign onto his campaign you will get info in your email. Here is the link.
