President Trump has been hard at work at Mar-a-Lago

Well, that's what my local ABC TV affiliate said just now on the local news:

"President Trump will be returning to the White House
after a week hard at work during his stay at Mar-a-Lago"

Name one thing he did, other than golfing and tweeting.

Trump filled a vacancy on the Supreme Court that sat vacant for more than a year.

No mention that the GOP blocked Obama's nominee.

10. I heard something similar on a public radio station - calling gorsuck's appointment an "achievement"

They also referred to the tax bill as an "achievement"

...so obstructionism and highway robbery are now considered to be presidential "achievements"

Next they'll be listing this as one of Dump's achievements:

affiliate owned by Scrippts-Howard,started about September, their love of Trump has increased about five hundred percent.

Noticed ABC is trying to outdo Fox locally for the Trump kiss-ass-a-thon.

My local station referred to it as a "working vacation," and that's when I reached for the remote.

If you want to know what a working vacation is, ask me how I spent the weekend.

Lotta scrubbing. Kitchen floor, toilet bowls, etc. Put in a new toilet supply line. Took a propane torch and gently thawed out a bib. Picked up the torch immediately thereafter and got a blister. Note to self: it might be in the twenties or teens outside, but the torch's tip is not cool at all.

I might have had three days off from paid employment, but I didn't have three days off from work.
