Franklin Mint buys Joe Paterno statue

Pennsylvania private collectible maker, Franklin Mint, announced today that it will be melting down the Joe Paterno statue to make PSU football program memorial coins. The coins, each individually numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, will be a limited edition honoring Joe Paterno's career on the front side, and carrying the patriotic words of the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution on the back. Supplies are limited, so only one order per household may be accepted, buyers must be over 18, and the coins will not be delivered to any address within 1000 feet of a school or daycare facility.
