Imagine the FBI investigating President Hillary Clinton for the Uranium One deal.

Imagine Democrats publicly urging that the FBI and the DOJ should be purged of people with anti-Hillary-bias.

How long would it take for the GOP to demand impeachment for obstruction of justice?

1. I used this point against a Trumper last week

What would the GOP Congress do if Pres Clinton, reacting to ongoing investigations and threats of impeachment, was talking about purging the FBI? He admitted that her days in office would be limited, but then fell back on the old impenetrable argument: Thank God we don't have to find out cause the most evil woman in history got beat.

I finished off my side of the discussion like I usually do: Thank God for Trump; I can't think of any other way the Dems could have taken back Congress in 2018 and left the GOP a broken, ineffectual party destined to stay in minority status for the next generation or so.

2. I've said it before but will say it again...

... if Hillary had done one-tenth of what Trump has done the Republicans would be openly screaming not just for her impeachment and imprisonment but her very assassination. Under the grounds of "taking our country back from tyranny" of course.

Literally would be calling for her to be killed. As in literally.

3. I agree they would have taken their Obama derangement syndrome a few steps up

if Clinton had been elected, even if she governed fairly and with great success .
Sorry, I cannot imagine her doing even 1/10th of the horrible things Trump has done but you are right.
Lock her up would have frenzied to a worse call for the slightest impropriety real or imagined.
It's where we are at as a country unfortunately
