Why the "dossier" was important?

The information and the charges in the "dossier" could not be ignored.

If only half of them were true, it would have exposed Trump to blackmail by the Russians. It was information that the FBI and intelligence had to take seriously.

Much of the information has already been proven true. There may be more to come?

Anybody, without their head in the sand, would have to see the danger in electing such a leader. But a lot of voters had their heads in the sand.

The "dossier" was a roadmap that led directly to the office of Vladimir Putin.

I think this and other salacious pieces were what got people to look deeper in an attempt to try and prove/disprove the dossier.

In fact it is a compilation of raw intelligence derived from a number of sources. Viable leads for the purpose of further investigation, but not necessarily conclusions in its raw state.
