Trump Infrastructure Plan Will Be Privatized & Toll System.

The GOP and Trump will push an infrastructure plan that sells it to even foreign corporations. So your water and sewer system might be owned by even Chinese corporations. Roads and bridges will end up being toll booth systems. They would even support turning national highways into toll roads to pay for maintenance.

I don’t have a huge problem with toll roads and bridges, I have a big problem with those tolls going to private companies though.

4. Yes, I generally agree with you.

I know that when I get around NYC, and up near Albany for example, it feels like you are paying tolls every 5 minutes. Same thing with the thruway parallel with Syracuse, as well as the PA turnpike. I too have a problem with tolls going to private companies.

I was just trying to make the point that great distances can be traveled in certain locations without any tolls at all...I hope that the maintenance costs for these roads that are currently toll free will not be privatized.

Just curious...what do you consider the Northeast to be? It seems that people have a different definition of this...thanks.

Connecticut is broke, though. The state spend tens of millions of dollars removing all toll booths several years back. Now that the budget is a mess, they're talking about spending hundreds of millions to rebuild them and start collecting toll revenues again. Stupidity.
