IT Seems To Me A Dunderheaded Move

To be calling Flynn a liar they way they are:

Flynn expected his legal bills to be paid...they weren't

He expected a pardon, his brother even asked for one on twitter.......A No On That

Now they're calling Flynn a liar

Flynn is not a nice guy who helped the Dumpster get elected and now he has been betrayed bigly.

Thus it seems to me they are in effect daring him to fulfill their worst fears. His brother used the words 'all their corruption' in his tweet.

Which seems foolish since they don’t know what Mueller already has documented.

In this game of cat and mouse, it does appear they’re the mouse and Mueller’s the cat toying with his prey.

Time will tell, of course, but their strategy seems shallow and shortsighted looking at it from the outside.

And to think this is the outgrowth of the argument that Trump's legal team engaged in, in the parking lot, after meeting with Mr. Mueller!

Recommended, of course.

(And I might just expand on this very topic soon.)

Thu Dec 28, 2017, 01:56 PM

The legal team is inappropriate, in that they have both White House and Trump's lawyer, which represent different -- though overlapping -- interests. In theory, the White House lawyer is supposed to represent the institution of the White House; in practice, it is representing the interests of those close to Trump, and Trump. And, of course, Trump's lawyer represents him.

The attack on Flynn is primarily geared to protect Jared and Junior. Trump's lawyer knows it is a foolish tactic. But both interests have to deal with Trump, who must know (at some level) that the investigation won't end by next week, and that he isn't going to get a letter from Mr. Mueller certifying he is without sin. The bullshit about Trump being confident, as reported last week, isn't real. He is going nuts. He is tweeting crazy shit.

Hence, the White House lawyers are trying to keep him from exploding in what is a high-risk gamble.

There are also several republicans in Congress who have connection$, who "coincidentally" are leading the attacks on Mr. Mueller and the FBI. Small world, at least for the corrupted rats. And it's getting smaller, and uncomfortably tight.

He was "fired" for lying to Pence. He was convicted for lying to the FBI. He was fired by Obama for being a crank. Their best move is to attack his credibility. He's probably going to talk either way.

"Mr. Trump, why did you appoint a known liar the be your National Security Adviser even after being warned by President Obama not to take him on?"

Trump comes out of this looking like an idiot (which he is) or complicit in dealing with the Russians (which he is).

In the same way, Pence was selected to be VP by Russian agent Paul Manafort. That order came from Putin.

The hierarchy in the Kremlin and in the Oligopoly is very autocratic. Everything flows under Putin's watch.
