Where would my donation do the most good?

Would it be better to donate the individual maximum to the Obama campaign, or to make the same donation to one of the pro-Obama super pacs (and which one). If possible, give some reasons one way or the other.

It will be one or the other, but I have no idea what reasons would make one or the other preferable.

The GOP here hasn't even fielded a full slate of candidates. We do have extra office supplies which find their way to the PA campaign.

directly. Not as if a PAC is an interest-bearing account!

Corporations are not allowed to donate directly to campaigns, but they can donate to super-PACs.
Same with foreign nationals. While Citizens United did not expressly allow foreigners to donate to our super-PACs,
since they allow the donors to be kept secret, that amounts to the same thing.
